Sorry for not posting anything here for a long time! I'm really not the journal type of person!
Sorry also for not commenting on deviations, journals, polls etc... I'm really busy lately and I'm in rather difficult period of my career (just trying to defend my PhD) so I hope I am excused for my so random and rare participation in this community!
Currently my free time is almost 100% full with dancing - I've become somewhat of a maniac on it, so I go 3 to 4 days a week - for 2-6 hours in the afternoons, so you can guess - not much time for anything else! (besides working on my thesis ofcourse)

Well I haven't updated for quite some time...
So what's been going on?...well...I'm mostly busy with my PhD - writing and submitting articles, working on my thesis paper etc...besides that I am doing pencil portraits for my collegues... all of a sudden (sinse I probably will have to leave in Dec or Jan at latest) everyone wants me to draw them - I do like it, but I got fewer and fewer free minutes in the week and when I do have them I'm exhausted...no offence but I can't draw like that!
I really enjoy our tasks at the club I am currently a member of! the digital portal:

I want to become a member of the PortraitPencilArt club too so I have asked for a joining permission! I guess this about covers all the fields of art that I admire completely! Not that I don't like photography or the 3D/4D, but I am not that good at them, and so I prefer hand-arts (no offense to any of the of the other artists here, especially those whom I'm watching - you guys and girls are great!).
Well... that's all folks...I hope I have more time for all the wonderful things in life (like drawing) that give me such pleasure to do and to observe!

So... about me... hmmm...OK

1) I am a veterinarian, currently doing a PhD in veterinary virology (mainly working with pigs);

2) I have a new wacom cintiq 12WX tablet and I'm in love with it, but I still need to learn Adobe Photoshop and Corel!

3) I love latin music and dansing, though I rarely get enough energy to do it myself!

4) I love nature, and especially mountains!!!

5) I am Bulgarian by nationality, but am currently in Belgium (not for long I presume)

6) I play the piano (or atleast did for 8 years before I got to studying veterinary medicine - hardly have the time and opportunity ever since)

7) I love to draw portraits with pencils (though not very good at it, yet)

8) I want to have a nice little cottage in the mountain with loads of green meadows and a heard of sheep to go with, and a dog and cat etc...dreams...

I am starting to draw now and NOTHING will stop me (except perhaps my furious boss who would say that art is not what I am paid for, and I will have to start doing what I'm paid immediately!!!)
